I’m a little worried about her and will be worried when it happens. She has to stay at the hospital for the night. Is there anything I should be worried about?

It’s very routine surgery. Not dangerous at all. Just be there to help your mother with things she needs at the hospital, like water, or getting her pillows fluffed, or going to the bathroom. She should have lots of painkillers already so should be fine.
