By a partial hysterectomy, do you mean that you kept your ovaries and cervix? If so, you could be having what is called "mini periods". The cervix is composed of uterine tissue. If you kept your ovaries, you continue to ovulate, or cycle. The uterine tissue on the back of the cervix acts as if it would if you were having a menstrual cycle. If you find this inconvenient, have your gynecologist stitch or cauterize your cervix closed.
If you no longer have either or both, I would suggest you see your gynecologist as soon as possible. This should not be happening.

This is a Question you should ask your Dr.
