KY jelly, not having sex for ages and getting all the crap out of your head.
Experimentation.
Take full advantage, this is like being a teenager again, you’ve got a new thing going on, it’s not bad, it’s new.
And it needs exploration, alone time or comfortable together time.
Lubrication is important as without it there can be pain and discomfort, and that leads to mental shutting down and that leads to turning off and that leads to more pain and discomfort.
The only rule of learning yourself again is that stop means stop. And that it is okay to stop at anypoint whatsoever.
Once you become more comfortable again, you’ll find that your body suddenly catches up with your desires.
Good luck!
More foreplay and stimulation and a positive mind set are extremely helpful. You may also need some vaginal hormone cream because the vaginal walls tend to thin after a hysterectomy. If you retained your ovaries, you may need some additional hormones. And if you had your ovaries removed, and are not on any hormone replacement therapy, you may want to consider starting it.
