I had a hysterectomy on Tuesday and went home on Wednesday (late that day). But i can not drive , bend over , pull on anything or stay up for any length of time. Also, I can only walk a short distance. I go back to the doctor in two weeks to get a check up. Hope this help you and your friend. Hope your friend the best with her surgery.
Usually if there are no complication, she can go home in two to three days.
