can an amniotic sac be made for a fetus that is an abdominal pregnancy? She has had a partial hysterectomy…?

Please, no "comments" just if you KNOW and are a medical professional, then answer… Thanks.
There is a woman who is saying she is pregnant and that she has had her uterus removed. She said she saw a doctor (not a specialist, but ob/gyn) and they found that the fetus had no amniotic sac. So she SAID the Dr. did surgery and MADE an amniotic sac for the fetus (she is 8 weeks supposedly) and told her it is a girl. 8 WEEKS! Can you tell that soon? We all think she is nuts, except her bF who is in the military. He wants to believe her. IS any of this possible?

The woman is seriously disturbed to make such outrageous comments, firstly a doctor cannot make an amniotic sac, and cannot tell the sex of a baby at 8 weeks….so yeah she is a nutter for sure!, i pity her BF!

There is no way to fashion an artificial amniotic sac and the only place a fetus can implant and be safely carried is in the uterus. (This is why ectopic pregnancies have to be terminated – there just aren’t any other areas in the body that can perform that function).

Any pregnancy that did not develop an amniotic sac would miscarry, usually before the woman even realizes she was pregnant.

8 weeks is too early to know the sex.

In short, this woman is lying through her teeth. Tell her poor boyfriend to RUN.
